BSA SELECT HIRES AREA COACHING GREAT

MIKE STOJSAVLJEVIC

Brookfield Soccer Association is excited to announce the addition of Coach Mike “Stoy” Stojsavljevic to the Select Coaching staff. Coach Stoy is among the most successful and recognized soccer coaches in the history of Wisconsin youth soccer. “Coach Stoy is an activator, achiever and learner.” said BSA Director of Coaching Art Kramer. “The State Cup championships, the Regional championships, the trips to the National championships, all those accomplishments are well documented. However, what I like most about Stoy is he continues to be a learner, and has done an impressive job over the years of changing and adapting his approach according to the personalities of the players he coaches.”

Beginning this fall, Stoy will coach U13 and U14 Boys Red teams. “I like coaching this age group of boys,” said Stoy. “When I began coaching back in the 1980’s, Brookfield’s U13 & U14 boys were among the elite teams in the State. Many of those players went on to play high school and college soccer on some of the top ranked teams in the country. I look forward to the challenge of restoring these age groups to a tradition of competitive excellence at Brookfield.”
