2014-2015 BSA Futsal Training Information
Played with a smaller, heavier ball, the focus of BSA’s Futsal Training is ball mastery and individual ball control. Training sessions will cover a range of soccer topics---dribbling, shooting, passing and receiving, defending, attacking with numbers up, etc.... Come see why Futsal is not only fun, but can help improve your player’s game in remarkable ways.
All training sessions will be held at the Brookfield Training Center (BTC) which is located at 3225 Gateway Road, Suite 400 in the Gateway West office park.
Each Futsal Training group will be led by a BSA select coach.
Reviewing the positive feedback from players, coaches, and families, three main reasons for continuing the BSA futsal program emerge:
- futsal enhances players’ soccer foot-skills and agility in a safe environment
- futsal provides opportunities to learn strategy and tactics that apply directly to outdoor
- BSA’s Futsal Training Program allows teammates to continue to train together during the winter months.
Session One will run from November 1st to January 16th
Session Two will run from January 17th to March 29th
Academy and Rec:
Session One will run from November 15 to January 17th
Session Two will run from January 24th to March 29th
If there are not enough players on a certain team to form a training group, we will create an age and skill-level-appropriate training group, so kids can continue to train with other players of similar age and ability.
Players who miss a day of training due to team training falling on one of these holidays will be allowed to make up the day with another team of comparable age and skill level.
The cost is $135 per session per player.
