FUTURES (U7-U8) AND ACADEMY (U9-U10) 

TRAINING PROGRAMS

Academy training provides an opportunity for all U7 through U10 BSA recreational players to be coached by Recreational Coaching Director Kyle Lance and members of the select coaching staff. This training is in addition to the player’s participation on their recreational soccer team.

 

Benefits of Futures and Academy Training
1) Players are coached by BSA select coaches in a positive and fun environment.
2) Players are taught proper technical skills which is crucial to their development.
3) Players receive one additional training session per week at Voigt Soccer Park. 
4) Players become familiar with members of select staff and their methods prior to U11.
5) Select coaching staff becomes familiar with and can identify players at younger ages.
6) Players receive evaluation providing direction on strengths and areas to improve.
7) Players meet and interact with other players in the program..
